SULLIVAN CO., IN – A two-vehicle collision in north-central Sullivan County claimed a life on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the area of 1000 County Road 650 North, which is on the far western outskirts of Shelburn, about 21 miles south of Terre Haute.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
One man became entrapped in his vehicle and ultimately succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported a second victim to an area hospital with injuries of unknown severity.
