Narrative
PORTER CO., IN – Police and medics responded to a double-fatality crash along the highway in northeast Porter County Friday.
The multi-vehicle collision happened shortly before 2 p.m. on US-6 near White Thorne Lane, which is just north of the Moraine Nature Preserve.
Officials haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, which involved two motorcycles and two passenger vehicles.
Authorities pronounced both motorcyclists deceased at the scene. Their identified have not yet been released to the public.
It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash, and there’s no word yet regarding charges.
